Construction of 109 homeownership housing units in Lille
The ART’MONIA project is located in Wazemmes, Lille, in a rapidly changing neighbourhood, on the site of a former garage.
The urban project consists of subdividing this industrial block into several plots on a domestic scale.
Its programme was developed in consultation with local residents.
This street layout defines five blocks, each different due to its position within the neighbourhood. They are characterised by interwoven typomorphologies: individual, intermediate and collective housing, either adjoining or stacked. The building heights of our operation range from R+1 to R+6: the façades are made of exposed load-bearing brickwork (6.5 × 22 × 22 cm).
