Olympics legacy at the Media Village – Delivery

Located in the Media Village ZAC in Dugny, our two buildings (lot A1) have welcomed their first residents over the past few days!

After hosting journalists and technicians from all over the world during the Paris Olympic Games, this emblematic and sustainable new district is beginning its new life: on the edge of Georges Valbon Park, the neighbourhood was designed as a 21st-century garden city.

A shared garden structures the quincunx formed by the two buildings, which respond to one another through a play of similar yet interlocking volumes.

The ground-floor apartments in the heart of the block and on the south side benefit from private gardens. At the corners, the volumes are hollowed out into loggias to accommodate private outdoor spaces; this configuration was favoured in order to encourage dual orientation. Added to this is a planted communal rooftop terrace offering all residents a convivial landscaped space.

All materials used were selected for their natural appearance, the quality of their finish and their durable character. Their nature and colours were chosen with a view to coherence both at site scale, between each building, and at neighbourhood scale.

The façades, designed in structural brick, ensure great durability and echo the construction qualities of the heritage of Dugny’s garden cities, particularly that of l’Eguiller.
